Obsession w/ a Box of Pencils

OK, so I just bought this Limited Edition pencil from Mongol: the I AM NINOY I AM CORY edition! Cool! So, why did I buy this?

1. It's evident that the husband-and-wife tandem of Ninoy & Cory Aquino has become a nationwide hit, obviously because the 2 are considered as "Models/Heroes of True Philippine Democracy";

2. It's LIMITED EDITION, which means, it's not gonna be like that forever. It's only available for a limited time;

3. It feels like I have a piece of history in my hands, so yeah;

4. I simply love it! Are there any more things to say?

So there. Now, I'm not really trying to brag about it or anything, it's just that, I was totally obsessed when I saw it for the first time. And now I have it, I'm like all giggles!

One word: YAHOO!

And So I Say...

I dream of lying down under a clear blue sky
then I see birds flying with freedom
the butterflies dance with the soft breeze
and the flowers bid goodbye to the fading dews

Then I see a city full of lights
people from all different places
all different faces and races
and so I say
"How wonderful life can be"

Then I shift to seeing a handsome angel
his face glowing like the moon in the night
his heart glittering like a golden crown
he bends his knee and smiles at me
gives me a flower and kisses my lips

And lastly, I was a witness to the glory of the skies
the heavenly gates with angels on every cloud
singing and making a bridge for the souls
and so I say
"I have spent my life as fruitful as it is"

The Boring Side of Being Rich

When you're rich, you get carried away with almost EVERYTHING. You get what you want, your needs are given in a blink of an eye, and you live the sweetest life (admit it, o' rich ones...Our friends are already green with envy.) But sometimes, being rich can be so boring.

Most of the rich people do is rest, rest, and did I mention rest? They just "use" their time in doing their "recreational activities" and "very important businesses."

I'll admit that, in our situation, it's pretty much like this. My dad spends his time by: RESTING, WATCHING TELEVISION, DRINKING COFFEE and ATTEND TO HIS ENGAGEMENTS (BUSINESS). My mom often does nothing but REST, SLEEP, SEW HER CLOTHES and COOK DELICIOUS FOOD (Note: she goes a little overboard sometimes!) As for me, the little spoiled brat/princess of the family, I spend my time SURFING THE WEB, ON FACEBOOK, LISTENING TO MUSIC, WATCHING INTERESTING VIDEOS ON YOUTUBE and MAKING MY PRECIOUS LITERARY ARTWORKS that are yet to be discovered.

See, being frantically rich is not all glitz, glamor and smiling faces. It depends on the rich dudes & dudettes' time management on how they'll make their rich lives fruitful.

ARE YOU RICH? 'CAUSE I AM.

(Note: This is not intended to hurt any rich person's feelings. These are just my own perspectives & opinions...So please...Don't even think about commenting negatively about it...Well, OK, you may comment negatively. But please make sure it doesn't hurt others' feelings, OK? Thanks!)

It's Been Awhile...

It's been awhile since I made my first few posts here...I'm so happy to be blogging again...

I'm now 16 years old, and a Senior (high school student). Soon, I'll be plucking myself off high school and planting myself in college. I'm not nervous or scared; in fact, I'm excited! I wonder how college will be...Who are the new people I'll be meeting there? I really can't wait?

Anyways, back to today...

So, I've been Facebook-ing and suddenly remembered my love for blogging...

Very random, so, I'll be posting again soon! (I mean, later!)

World Diabetes Day 2009: a day & an eye-opener

Today, November 14 2009, the world celebrates World Diabetes Day. As though it may seem diabetes is not important, IT IS. There are already 285 million diabetics across the globe and counting. Everyday, one of about ten people is diagnosed with diabetes. It's not easy to accept the harsh truth when you're diagnosed with the said disease, especially when your life is flowing just right.

It is my first time to be fully aware of this day, and it has already become my FAVORITE day (aside from my birthday, Christmas, New Year, Nick Jonas' brithday & Summer days). Today, in all parts of the world, diabetics & non-diabetics unite as they help fight diabetes. Different events are held to further help them understand diabetes better.

The 5 Kingdoms of Teacher-hood

Ok, we students all know teachers can be very unique with each other...in MORE ways than one. Some are strict and some are good; some are carefree and some are disciplinarians...I came across an article from my one of my favorite magazines about the 5 types of teachers:

1. LADIUS STRICTUS = Strict Lady

2. MAMMA MIA! = Mother-like teacher, or any teacher that smells like a vintage old lady

3. GEEKUS MATHEMATICUS = applicable only for Math & Science teachers

4. MISTRESS SISTERETTE = simple & normal teacher

5. CREATIVA SPIRITUS = probably your art & drama teachers are more likely to be of this kind

So there you have it...this is your ultimate guide to your teachers...
I'll explain to you one by one next time...

Have a nice day!

I cry because I'm in love...

Why is is that everytime teens are in love, their parents control them? I'm pretty sure they have been that way when they were teens. But why do teens and parents battle when it comes to ROMANTIC LOVE? Is it because the "unwanted" happening could attract them to do so?

These times, parents' biggest problems come when their children are in love. Different thoughts come to their minds, like their children not finishing college and instead, get married early and have a family at an age where fun is clearly elucidated. But really, what is wrong with falling in love?

My dear bloggers, falling in love is nothing to be worried about. The thoughts that our parents are thinking about are for our own welfare. But I tell you: nothing is wrong with falling in love. It was a God-given gift, so we must use it...WISELY...like time.

I have parents who are super-strict (probably because of their old age) and I'm completely envious of liberated teens who can have boyfriends and girlfriends. I wish someday, I'd find my own, so why not start now, right?

I should only listen to my parents' pieces of advices, but I shouldn't depend on them all the time. There are times that I have to do everything my own way and be independent beacuse, no one knows oneself better than oneself. No one knows who you are but you, so you should not hide under the rock and be scared. It may sound risky, I know, but at least you would be free.

I'm not telling you all to disobey your parents or something; that is bad. What I'm trying to say here is that, LOVE doesn't always have a negative aspect, no, not the way our parents see it. It has a positive aspect, too.

SO BE IN LOVE & ENJOY LIFE AS IT IS!!!
