Christmas is in the Air! :]

Yeah...Christmas in the air. It's December already, and, well, I'm not having a cold one yah know...So what will I do for this season? :]

1. PRAY = I really have to pray for Christmas miracles to happen (or at least, late Christmas miracles to occur in the near future);

2. GIVE = I'm giving gifts to my friends. Of course, the gift needs to befit the receiver, otherwise, they'll find it vain.

3. SHARE = Christmas is about sharing, so I'll take myself off the selfish ways and into the Golden Hearts Club (yeah, people who are generous have golden hearts. Just not painted, though)

4. SING & DANCE = Hit the dancefloor and party! Gahahahahaha!!! One of my favorites during the Yuletide season is to rock it all out like there's no tomorrow! (Although I also do it thrice more when New Year comes)

5. SMILE = No Christmas would be complete without a little show from the pearly whites :D

So there you have it...How to spend my lovely Christmas! :]

Joyeux Noel! :]

Say NO to NO :)

OK, so I got this from a certain company magazine, and it was so cool! It's kind of like an optimistic poem, so, I'd like to share it with everyone!

Isn't it high time someone got negative about negativity?
Yes, it is.
Look around. The world is full of things that, according
to nay-sayers, should never have happened.
"Impossible."
"Impractical."
"No."
And yet, "yes."

Yes, continents have been found.
Yes, many men have played golf on the moon.
Yes, straw is being turned into biofuel to power cars.
Yes, yes, yes.

WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO TURN NO INTO YES?

Curiosity. An open mind. A willingness to take risks.
And, when the problem seems most insoluble, when the
challenge is hardest, when everyone else is shaking
their heads, to say: let's go.

So there you go. An optimist poem for everyone. Thanks!

Empty Frames...

Empty Frames is a song by well-known RnB singer Ne-Yo. I listen to it whenever I remember that special someone I used to be with when I was a sophomore. Most of my schoolmates know who that person is... :'(

I cried so much when that person hurt my feelings one night. Broke my heart in a million pieces. But I've moved on now...I learned my lesson...Now that person wants me back, but I'm sorry...I couldn't anymore...IT'S OVER...

Tuesday, Tuesday, Tuesday...

So I'm going to make this blog post really short. What did I do today?

* The usual Flag Ceremony
* Quizzes in A.P. & English IV
* discussions in Advanced Algebra, CLVE & Physics
* story writing in Music IV w/ the help of Vivaldi's music masterpieces
* dealing w/ my new dental fillings
* doing tons of other stuff that's school-related :)

So that's pretty much what I did this day. And it's so nice that time moves fast when it's Tuesday. It's the fastest day in the whole week (for me).

OK! That's pretty much it :)

BLUEBERRY ADDICT!

You could very much say that I'm a girl with a passion and total addiction to BLUEBERRIES.

I really couldn't remember the first time I tasted the sweet fruit, nor could I remember the first time I ever noticed its existence. What I can remember is the happiness it brings whenever I eat them. It can either be a flavor of a cookie/biscuit or a topping on a pancake/waffle. I really love blueberries (and who wouldn't?). I love dried, fresh or canned blueberries, blueberry-flavored cookies and biscuits, cheesecakes, pancakes, waffles & even ice cream! What I would like to taste is blueberry juice and blueberry rice. I sure hope Starbucks makes a bunch of blueberry frappucino; I'd be so happy!

I have an obsession with the blueberry. Deal with it.

The Freedom of Writing...

I am a writer, and I have to use my skill for freedom of expression, not a requirement to graduate....

We have a project in English about composing writing compositions. And yes, there are RULES to be followed. As a writer, I feel offended. WHERE IS THE ESSENCE OF FREE WRITING? I mean, I myself would not pass just for me to have a high grade in that class. I should use my writing skills (since I can feel I have excelled in that particular macro skill) in things that are truly important. OK, I'm not blaming my English teacher on why she gave this type of project (She's the teacher; she can give any project she wishes. And, also, whether I like it or not, I have to do it still.) Maybe I'm just a little disturbed (about the fact that I'll be using my writing talent for a P-R-O-J-E-C-T)...Or so at least I think I am... I believe that using your skills for something that is, in many ways, "unnecessary", is an insult to you. Think about it: Would you use your drawing skills for vandalizing walls? Would you use your singing talent to sing about something that the masses don't want to hear? Would you use your knowledge in leadership to be corrupt? I don't think so. No one in their right mind would do such.

Oh well, it's another entry of opinion. At least, in my perspective it is.

Obsession w/ a Box of Pencils

OK, so I just bought this Limited Edition pencil from Mongol: the I AM NINOY I AM CORY edition! Cool! So, why did I buy this?

1. It's evident that the husband-and-wife tandem of Ninoy & Cory Aquino has become a nationwide hit, obviously because the 2 are considered as "Models/Heroes of True Philippine Democracy";

2. It's LIMITED EDITION, which means, it's not gonna be like that forever. It's only available for a limited time;

3. It feels like I have a piece of history in my hands, so yeah;

4. I simply love it! Are there any more things to say?

So there. Now, I'm not really trying to brag about it or anything, it's just that, I was totally obsessed when I saw it for the first time. And now I have it, I'm like all giggles!

One word: YAHOO!

And So I Say...

I dream of lying down under a clear blue sky
then I see birds flying with freedom
the butterflies dance with the soft breeze
and the flowers bid goodbye to the fading dews

Then I see a city full of lights
people from all different places
all different faces and races
and so I say
"How wonderful life can be"

Then I shift to seeing a handsome angel
his face glowing like the moon in the night
his heart glittering like a golden crown
he bends his knee and smiles at me
gives me a flower and kisses my lips

And lastly, I was a witness to the glory of the skies
the heavenly gates with angels on every cloud
singing and making a bridge for the souls
and so I say
"I have spent my life as fruitful as it is"

The Boring Side of Being Rich

When you're rich, you get carried away with almost EVERYTHING. You get what you want, your needs are given in a blink of an eye, and you live the sweetest life (admit it, o' rich ones...Our friends are already green with envy.) But sometimes, being rich can be so boring.

Most of the rich people do is rest, rest, and did I mention rest? They just "use" their time in doing their "recreational activities" and "very important businesses."

I'll admit that, in our situation, it's pretty much like this. My dad spends his time by: RESTING, WATCHING TELEVISION, DRINKING COFFEE and ATTEND TO HIS ENGAGEMENTS (BUSINESS). My mom often does nothing but REST, SLEEP, SEW HER CLOTHES and COOK DELICIOUS FOOD (Note: she goes a little overboard sometimes!) As for me, the little spoiled brat/princess of the family, I spend my time SURFING THE WEB, ON FACEBOOK, LISTENING TO MUSIC, WATCHING INTERESTING VIDEOS ON YOUTUBE and MAKING MY PRECIOUS LITERARY ARTWORKS that are yet to be discovered.

See, being frantically rich is not all glitz, glamor and smiling faces. It depends on the rich dudes & dudettes' time management on how they'll make their rich lives fruitful.

ARE YOU RICH? 'CAUSE I AM.

(Note: This is not intended to hurt any rich person's feelings. These are just my own perspectives & opinions...So please...Don't even think about commenting negatively about it...Well, OK, you may comment negatively. But please make sure it doesn't hurt others' feelings, OK? Thanks!)

It's Been Awhile...

It's been awhile since I made my first few posts here...I'm so happy to be blogging again...

I'm now 16 years old, and a Senior (high school student). Soon, I'll be plucking myself off high school and planting myself in college. I'm not nervous or scared; in fact, I'm excited! I wonder how college will be...Who are the new people I'll be meeting there? I really can't wait?

Anyways, back to today...

So, I've been Facebook-ing and suddenly remembered my love for blogging...

Very random, so, I'll be posting again soon! (I mean, later!)
